After Care Instructions

I provide second-skin after all my appointments. If you have an allergy to Latex, Adhesives, or Band-Aids please make me aware.

Second-Skin Day 1-5

  • At the end of the appointment, I will apply a piece of second-skin on your tattoo.

  • Keep this bandage on for 3-5 days.

  • Under the bandage, Ink and blood may pool. This is completely normal.

  • The bandage is water-resistant, so feel free to shower, swim or work out with the bandage applied.

  • When it's time to remove the bandage, take it off under running water. I find cool water works best.

  • After removed, proceed to finishing touches ➯

Natural Healing Week 1

  • At the end of the appointment I will wrap the tattoo in either plastic wrap or a soak pad.

  • Leave the wrap on until you reach a clean environment, usually home.

  • Once home, remove the wrap and clean the tattoo with antibacterial soap.

  • Let the tattoo airdry and then apply a thin layer of Aquaphor.

  • Repeat the cleaning, drying, and moisturizing step twice a day for the first week.

  • After the first week, proceed to finishing touches

Finishing Touches

  • After the second skin is removed or you've reached the second week healing naturally; Clean the tattoo twice a day with antibacterial soap, let air dry and then apply a thin layer of unscented lotion.

  • You will do this for about a week or until the tattoo heals.

  • If your tattoo is itching that means it is dry. Apply another thin layer. DO NOT scratch.
